Three optical devices are installed in a linear triptych sequence. Every unit is structured upon a square mirrored base that serves as an amplifier of the observer’s visual field, integrating the surrounding space into the work’s internal logic.
At the center of the base a mechanical steel assembly secures a series of magnets via technical clamps. Their invisible force fields are held in a state of suspension within the void between the reflective ground and the frontal filter.
Positioned in a precise parallels alignment with the mirror a technical magnetic viewing film reveal iridescent, concentric patterns that appear to float in a sustained state of instability.
The dialogue between the calibrated coolness of the metal and the chromatic depth of the film creates a tension between the static permanence of the structure and the fugitive, vibrant texture of the surface in a permanent dialogue between the tangible and the intangible.
